Regenarting a city does not mean acting solely on the aesthtetic aspect of the urban landscape, but using architecture as an indication of a more profound, radical change able to put man back at the centre of all the thinking. It is important to remember that design must interpret the way in which people move and relate to one another and the spaces thay inhabit.

Regenerating means continuing to change the land, working mainly in the spaces between things and giving a sense of belonging to the principle of collective space. The space between things is the engine of every quality regenarating process, because it is only element in which the certainties or tomorreow can be placed.

Sustainbility, like the technological progress, draws its essence and reason for begin from the ethics of objects and respect for places.
The "ecological" dimension of cities, or understanding hpw the best and qualitatively inhabit the places and regions, must  increasingly become the foundation of every planning action.

If our cities as a permanent dwelling model have come to the and of a cycle, architecture has the duty to realise and take care of it, taking charge of interpreting new ways of being city, and thus community.

The exhibition or works on urban regeneration takes on even more significance in a place that, not only among the experts but also in the imagination of the peaple, represents the city itself and its life. The hall contains the display of a city that does net yet exist and indicates the diraction to follow, in a programme where social partecipation, as an awareness and sharing of a solutions takes on a very important role.
A dream of quality towards which to draw reality and tranform it into culture.
